Dear Church and Pastor Frank,
I greet you in the precious name of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ whom we serve. I trust this letter finds you in good health and in the joys of the Lord.
I received with joy and appreciation your prayers and support for the month of December 2013 as well as the one time special offerings in the amount of $500.00 and the monthly support in the amount of $100.00 from Grace Baptist Church of San Antonio, Texas, U.S.A. pastored by Elder Jose F. Maldonado. And also I received the advance support for January 2014 on December 14, 2013 in the amount of $200.00 when I was doing mission work in Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental, Philippines and the remaining balance in the amount of $300.00 on January 3, 2014 sent by our Treasurer, Sis. Rebekah Evans. I thank her for serving the Lord faithfully through His church, the Meadowthorpe Baptist Church.
I'm sorry to say that I went only to 2 different places in December 2013 preaching the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ In Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental, Philippines and in San Francisco, Southern Leyte, Philippines instead of going to 4 different places in December as originally planned due to time constraint.
In Ozamis City before I conducted a 4 days preaching of the Gospel in a large room offered by a busineesman there about True Salvation, True Baptism, True Church and True Christian Living, I had spent a few days in house to house visitation, giving fliers, and inviting people to come to the meeting place to hear the Gospel preach. Many attended, but, only 2 responded for baptism and organization on December 17, 2013 and the new church comprising 2 baptized believers called the new organized church: New Testament Baptist Church of Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental, Philippines (Matthew 18:15-20). They adopt a doctrinal statement, church covenant, article of incorporation and article of agreement. Pictures about the newly organized church will be sent later, but no video coverage due to lack of personnel who knows how to operate the video camera.
Who says that we cannot organize 2 baptized believers into a church? Of course, the religious people and religious organizations today, but, not our Lord Jesus Christ and His church (again, read Matthew 18:15-20). "Two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the mid of them" Matthew 18:20 (in church capacity).
Of course in my capacity as your missionary, I have need to visit from time to time all the churches that we organized in the Philippines like what the Apostle Paul did during the New Testament times in his missionary works after he organized the church in Corinth, Galatia, Thessalonika, Ephesus, Collose, Philippos, Rome and others to find out what the churches are doing.after he left them and gave his report to his sending church in Antioch (Acts 14:26-28). That is also what I will do in the future.
As for my preaching of the Gospel in San Francisco, Southern Leyte, Philippines accompanied by my wife Connie Badilles, the people there who heard me preach are not yet ripe for baptism and organization. But, I promised to return to them sometimes in April or May 2014 to harvest what I planted. As for our mission work this month of January 2014, I will concentrate it in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Philippines and in Baganga, Davao Oriental, Philippines.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support for the Mission Work in the Philippines and for using me as your representative of this mission work. I thank the Lord for saving me and for calling me to the Gospel Ministry as your partner in doing mission work in the Philippines in preaching, baptizing, teaching and organizing baptized believers into churches of like faith and order in different parts of the country.
Please send me the E-mail address of Grace Baptist Church in Antonio, Texas and her pastor, Elder Jose F. Maldonado because I will send them a copy of this report as soon as possible.
Any word from you is very much appreciated.
Teddy C. Badilles
